Following a week of farewells, three footballers who have marked a stage in the history of Málaga CF said goodbye to La Rosaleda. Duda, Weligton and Demichelis stepped on to the pitch before the match kicked off, accompanied by their families.
A farewell following a life of service to the Blue and White colours, with the best tribute possible, that of their fans. Vice president, Nasser Al Thani presented them with three frames displaying photographs representing their careers with Málaga CF. Three emotional moments that ended with all three in an embrace on the field of play, a pitch that will always witness afternoons of glory.
At the end of the match, president Abdullah Al Thani made a nice gesture. He posed for a photo with all three, who were dressed in Blue and White, with their arms raised for the final match of the season. Arms in the air for a trio of aces for the history books.
