Málaga CF Femenino has enjoyed an outstanding first round of the League competition, to arrive at 2018 top of the table with 34 points.
First team
The Blue and Whites’ squad, coached by Antonio Contreras, ends 2017 with 34 points and first place in the rankings, with a two-point advantage over their immediate competitor, Granada CF Femenino. The Malaguistas are the highest goal-scorers of Segunda División Nacional Group IV (64 goals), and have conceded the fewest (4). The team will return to the pitch during the first weekend of January, when they will face Club Polillas Atlético at the Ciudad Deportiva de Cártama.
Reserve team
Málaga CF Femenino’s reserve team has followed the same positive line as the first team, ending 2017 in first place with 27 points. The Blue and Whites have had a full house of victories up to now, winning nine of their corresponding matches and with a six-point lead over CD Rincón (second place).
Cadete team
The cadetes, the girls’ team competing in a masculine league, are in ninth place in the table with 19 points. The Malaguistas have showed good gameplay in the male competition, accumulating 5 victories, 3 draws and 4 defeats, with two matches in hand that were postponed.
