Following an initial video session, the team stepped on to the wet pitch at the stadium, to undergo diverse exercises using the ball. At the disposition of Marcelo Romero today were goalkeepers; Kameni, Boyko and the reserve team’s Aarón, plus another 21 players, counting homegrown Ontiveros, Kuki and En-Nesyri, the latter now back in normal training after taking part in the #CAN2017 with Morocco. The latest signing of the winter transfer window, José Rodríguez, completed his second session with the team.

Non-physically fit, Sandro, Ricca, Luis Muñoz and Weligton remained in the gym this morning. Recio was also absent from training, having recently undergone surgery; along with Kuzmanovic, suffering with a long-term injury; and Burkina Faso international, Bakary Koné, who will end his Africa Cup of Nations journey on Saturday.

Tomorrow, Friday at 10:30, Málaga CF will return to training at La Rosaleda stadium. At midday, the team line-up for #MálagaEspanyol will be announced, and coach, Marcelo Romero will hold a press conference.
