Just after 2.30 p.m, Málaga Club’s Consultant Advisors, José Carlos Pérez; the Advisor to the Presidency, Jesús Nuño; the General Manager, Fernando Hierro; and the Sporting Director, Antonio Fernández, welcomed members Getafe’s board of directors, namely the President, Ángel Torres, and his first and second deputies, Felipe Triguero and Valentín Sánchez, respectively to La Rosaleda.  Málaga Consultant Advisor, Francisco Martín Aguilar, joined the gathering at 3.15 p.m.  After taking a tour of the Blues and Whites’ ground and walking on the hallowed turf, the Málaga and Getafe directors enjoyed a lunch in La Rosaleda’s VIP area.
 
The good relationship between both organisations sets the scene for tonight’s match at 10 p.m.
