A light training session to end the week

Málaga CF trained this Friday, at the municipal stadium. The deputy coach, Rubén Cousillas, conducted the last weekly training session. There was said to be a good atmosphere during the physical and ball training, for around an hour and a quarter.

 After the initial warm up, the trainer, José Cabello, arranged a series of playful matches, followed by group rounds, then exercises on goal and ball possession.  Playing in this first part were Weligton, Juanmi, Edinho, Van Nistelrooy and Duda.  The first four continued alongside the assistant coach, Enrique Ruiz, carrying out more specific training than the others.  As usual, Willy Caballero and Rubén were working alongside the goalkeeper’s coach, Xabi Mancisidor.  Baptista, Javi Malagueño (with his long term injury) and the substitute goalkeeper Pol remainedin the gym.  Isco, Cazorla, Mathijsen, Demichelis, Rondón and Eliseu, the six internationals, were not present.
 
On Saturday and Sunday, the first team players will enjoy two days of rest.  They will return to work on Monday the 10th of October at 5 p.m, at the municipal stadium in Málaga.
