A jersey marked by a thousand battles

Málaga CF presents the new kits for the 21/22 season. The home jersey returns to the royal blue tone of the early 90s and 2000s.

At last, the new MCF kit is here. The Club has selected the privileged environment of Frigiliana to unveil the new uniform. An Entity that is ever closer to the province thanks to its new main sponsor, Sabor a Málaga.

A home shirt with a lot to say

It’s back. The powerful royal blue returns to Málaga CF. The jersey, with pure vertical stripes and a classic cut, has a retro touch that evokes the Club stage of the 90s and 2000s.

This look isn’t by chance, as the Entity seeks to pay homage during the imminent 21/22 season to the team that rose from its ashes almost 30 years ago. With an abyss ahead - starting in the Third Division - a squad full of reserve team players and their fans met again after the disappearance of CD Málaga and gave their all to keep the feeling alive. Why now? COVID-19 has kept us apart for a season and a half, but at last we are going to see each other again. Now we have to give our all once again so as not to allow distance to dent our passion. For all this, MCF dons this jersey marked by a thousand battles again. The charismatic Alberto Escassi unveils this historic kit.

The away shirt, the opposition

What colour is this jersey? Truth is we don’t know really what to say. There are numerous theories as to the tone of this modern shirt. Some say it’s Crimson, Diva Pink, Orange or Coral. The only thing we know is the Pantone reference, but we prefer to leave it unidentified and let our fans define this enigmatic colour.

Of what there is no doubt, is that this kit leaves nobody indifferent. Its boldness, freshness and shine make it a highly attractive piece for fans and collectors. Player, Marina Gálvez shows us this enigmatic jersey.

Sobriety for the third, and visibility for the goal

Black is always a good choice for a kit. Elegant, classic, it never fails. This is the third Malaguista shirt, which the players will wear as a third alternative. The great Pablo Sánchez of Málaga Genuine shows us how good it looks.

When it comes to goalkeepers, there’s a whole world of colours. They say that bright, vivid colours make them appear bigger to strikers, whereas darker, more muted tones make them go almost unnoticed. Either effect seems detrimental to the strikers. Whatever the reason, the reality is that this clothing that Dani Barrio wears is striking and most attractive.

On sale soon

The home and away shirts will be on sale in MCF Stores for fans once there is sufficient stock to cover demand. The Club's official media will reveal the date they’ll go on sale shortly.
