A door for a life dedicated to Malaguismo

Door number 18 at the stadium, providing access to the parking area, will bear the name of Andrés Perales, a Malaguista employee who has been linked to the entity for over 50 years.

Andrés Perales León, born on 12th June 1935 in Marmolejo (Jaén) has dedicated more than half of his life to Málaga. He arrived at La Rosaleda in 1966, and to this day it is still his home. Quite literally, as his home is annexed to the stadium, near the parking area.

To understand why Andrés Perales has a door in his name at La Rosaleda, you simply need to know a little of his history. Since his arrival as the official driver for CD Málaga, he has dedicated his body and soul to the team of his life. As well as driving the team coach, he has been a caretaker, security guard, gardener, pitch delegate, and even a masseuse for the reserve team for a short time.

Andrés is an illustrious part of the Malaguista family. He knows every generation of players and workers who have passed through La Rosaleda since 1966 to present day. Indeed, more than one of them have been to his home and listened to his countless anecdotes. Even Johan Cruyff congratulated him in person for the impeccable condition of the pitch he was in charge of.

Perales retired in 2010, but still lives in his home, La Rosaleda, where he raised his large family of seven children, together with his wife, Antonia.

Thank you, Don Andrés!
