Málaga CF midfielder, José Recio was injured in the first few minutes of yesterday’s training match between the first team and the reserve team.
He underwent diagnostic tests this morning to determine the exact extent of the injury. The tests confirmed he has a sprain to the external lateral ligament in his right knee.
Left-back, Fede Ricca, who was recuperating in recent training sessions due to discomfort to the soleus in his right leg, also underwent tests that confirmed the injury to his soleus muscle.
Both Recio and Ricca will carry out a recovery treatment, to see how they progress from their injuries.
