A crazy end of play keeps the points in Granada (3-2)
Málaga CF Femenino were denied by Granada in a match they dominated until the final stretch.
It wasn’t to be. The Blue and Whites played a good game in the neighbouring province, but the points went to Granada CF following this Sunday’s clash (12:00).
Natalia put Nati Gutiérrez’s girls in front after 5 minutes. Following a rapid play, the Malaguista netted the ball after evading the rival keeper (0-1). With an advantage on the scoreboard, the visitors sought to take control of the ball and govern the pace of play.
In minute 71, MCFF doubled their lead in an electric display. Following a rapid run down the left wing, Natalia delivered a promising ball to the penalty spot for Alejandra to fire into the net (0-2). However, barely two minutes later, the locals narrowed the gap with a goal from Noe (1-2, min 73). Then in 78’ and 83’, the Red and White scoreds another two goals, the work of Yurena and Cristina, to turn the result in their favour (2-3).
A tough blow for the Malaguistas who controlled the match until the 71st minute but didn’t to manage to claim any points from Granada.
