The Malaguista squad doesn’t just compete every weekend, the players also do so in every training session they carry out each week at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium. Today, Malaguista coach, Juan Ramón López Muñiz and his team prepared a special session, involving a skills’ competition, in which the team was divided into five groups.
The main new addition to the session was Dani Pacheco. The Malaguista winger completed training with the rest of the team, along with Erik Morán and Jack Harper, who trained with their teammates for the second consecutive day. Ricca and Juankar alternated between work in the gym and training on the pitch, outside the group. Brezancic and Koné trained in the gym, as did Alejo, who underwent preventive training due to discomfort to his back.
Homegrown players Hicham, Hugo, as well as regular fixtures Iván Rodríguez, Keidi and Harper trained with the first team under Muñiz’s orders.
The squad will return to training tomorrow, Friday from 10am at La Rosaleda stadium, to finalise preparations for Saturday’s match against Extremadura UD.
