20 players complete the session at full capacity

Málaga resumed training this Monday morning at La Rosaleda. The goalkeepers, Boyko, Aarón and ‘juvenil’, Javi Cuenca, plus another 17 players underwent a normal session. Sandro was absent, suffering with a Grade I injury to his right femoral biceps.

The team focused on continuous running, rounds in groups, possession work using the ball and stretching exercises.  Under the instruction of goalkeeping coach, Paco Ruiz, were Boyko, reserve team’s Aarón and ‘juvenil’, Javi Cuenca – the new addition of the day.  A total of 17 players were in training, including homegrown players; Luis, Ontiveros, En-Nesyri and Kuki Zalazar.

Sandro Ramírez underwent a series of medical tests this morning at Clínicas Rincón-La Rosaleda, which determined he’s suffering with a Grade I femoral biceps injury to his right leg, pending development.

Kameni and Camacho remained in the gym to undergo a more specific workout than the rest of the team, whilst the injured players; Keko, Kuzmanovic, Recio, Charles and Weligton continued with their respective recoveries from injury.

Tomorrow, Tuesday from 10:30, Málaga CF will return to training at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
