Pablo called-up to join Spain’s first team

Málaga CF midfielder, Pablo Fornals has been called-up by the RFEF to join Spain’s first team.

National team coach, Vicente del Bosque has today announced the Spain line-up – provisional – of 25 players for the forthcoming Euro 2016, in which Málaga-born ex-Malaguista player, Isco Alarcón is also included.

As such, the Salamanca-born coach will have 11 young players to incorporate ‘La Roja’ in training on Monday 23rd May, amongst them is Pablo.  The Castellon-born under-21s international will train with the national team to prepare for the Euro competition, taking place in France between 10th June and 10th July.

“When I found out, I was taking my sister to the airport and my mother called to tell us.  Everyone phoned me, my teammates, the coaches, showing how close we are at the Club.

“The Spain squad is full of amazing players, and I’m excited to play alongside any of them.  I never thought I’d make the pre-selection, the Euro competition even less.  We’ll see what happens and what the coach decides.  It’s been an incredible year, and this is the icing on the cake” comments Pablo to the Club media.
