An experienced central defender formed in the youth ranks of Real Oviedo, with an extensive career with numerous national teams. An international with Spain’s lower categories, until his arrival at the Club he accumulated a total of 274 matches (16 goals) between the First and Second Divisions and Copa del Rey over 10 seasons. His contract with Málaga CF extends to the 2021/22 season.
