Winning end to United Tournament for women’s team (9-0)
The Blue and Whites defeated CD Femarguín by 9-0 to claim fifth place in the international tournament held in Tenerife.
Málaga CF Femenino ended its participation in the United International Football Festival with a 9-0 victory againstCD Femarguín de Gran Canaria. The Malaguistas were superior from the start, with Raquel opening the scoring in minute 10 taking advantage of a ball from a corner kick. The match belonged to the Blue and Whites, with Contreras’ girls dominating possession. Seven minutes after the first goal, María Ruiz made it 2-0 with a shot straight into the target. At the end of half-time, Armisa took the girls to a 3-0 lead.
No sooner had the second half got underway, Adriana put the team 4-0 in front thanks to a perfectly executed pass by Minori, who came on in place of Raquel. Málaga were comfortable on the field of play and increased their advantage in 55’ when the referee called a penalty in favour of the Blue and Whites. Adriana converted from the penalty spot to score the fifth goal of the game. With everything in Málaga’s favour, Mascaró seized control of the ball in the small area in minute 59. She pushed the ball with elegance to make it 6-0. The Mallorca-born player wasn’t happy with just one goal, and in 74’ scored her second goal to take the team’s lead to 7-0. After 80 minutes, Natalia made it 8-0 and two minutes later, Pamela sealed the definitive 9-0 win.
