“We want the match to go ahead, as it will mean Reus’ situation is resolved”

Malaguista goalkeeper, Munir held a press conference after this Thursday morning’s training: “We’re getting ready for the match with great excitement and enthusiasm, hoping that it will be played”.

Very happy on a personal level

“I’m really happy, very content on a personal level and hope it continues that way for a long time. I’m pleased with how things are going, I’m finding that stability I was looking for, being able to feel comfortable. I’m enjoying being with my teammates every day, it’s proving to be a very complete season. I’m happy with how the end of the year went, now it’s time to keep working hard in order to improve the many things I need to improve on and contribute to the team. I’m getting better each day in order to do that”.

Wishing for a solution to the CF Reus situation

“It’s not a comfortable situation for them. They have our utmost support as we wouldn’t like to be in that position. We’re getting ready for the match with great excitement and enthusiasm, hoping that it will be played. We know that when a team is experiencing a tough situation, when there are players who have that level of uncertainty and are playing a lot, it can be difficult. We’re working very well, the people are involved, highly committed, I believe the work is going really well. We’re ready and eager to play. This would also mean that Reus’ situation is resolved, which would make us very happy. I hope everything turns out well and we play a good match on Sunday”.

Continuing along the same line from before the Christmas break

“Just as we finished the year with great excitement and enthusiasm, we expect a very difficult league competition ahead. We must keep working in the same way, with the same excitement and enthusiasm. In the end, competing in the same way as we have done up to now will allow us to remain in this good position. The fact the team competes so well is our trademark, and what will take us a long way”.

The fans will applaud the rival

“It says a lot about the great fans we have. They continue to surprise us all the time with how they act, because of their fair play. It says so much about them. They are an example to everyone”.

The most important factor, our match

“For us the most important thing is Sunday’s game against Reus at La Rosaleda and the three points at stake. From there, what happens with other results doesn’t matter to us. We know we have to rely on ourselves, be the best we can be and obtain the best results we can. That’s the most important factor”.
