The Costa del Sol Cup is back
Málaga CF will host Antequera CF for their presentation tournament that returns after six years. The match will be held on 5th August at 20:30 with free access for season ticket holders. The Blue and Whites will also compete in the Ciudad de los Dólmenes Cup, a triangular tournament with the team from Antequera and UD Melilla (16th August).
This season will be historic. Málaga CF and Antequera CF will meet for the first time in Primera RFEF. This match will have its official rehearsal on 5th August at La Rosaleda in the XXXIV edition of the Costa del Sol Cup at 20:30.
The presentation friendly will be played again after six years, with the last time being on Saturday 5th August 2017 against SS Lazio.
Subsequently, Málaga CF will be one of the invited teams in the triangular Ciudad de los Dólmenes Cup. The Blue and Whites will participate together with the host, Antequera CF, and UD Melilla on Wednesday 16th August at Nuevo Estadio El Maulí.
After these two friendly matches, Sergio Pellicer's team will face Javier Medina's men during the 2023/24 season in Primera Federación Group 2.
