VIP Blue and White Values kick off February

CEIP La Mata in Cártama visited La Rosaleda in the first session of Blue and White values this month.

Blue and White Values continue to spread throughout the province, fulfilling the MCF Foundation’s objective in collaboration with the Diputación de Málaga’s Sports Department.

Some 90 students from CEIP La Mata in Cártama visited La Rosaleda Stadium on Wednesday to receive a unique lesson in values on a day immersed in Malaguismo, the first visit in February.

They explored the stadium through the Museum&Tour to later reach the first floor of the Tribuna VIP Area from where they watched the first team in training, received a talk on Blue and White Values by the MCF Foundation staff and shared an unforgettable meeting with four Club players: Esteban Burgos, from Málaga CF; Luisa Olmedo, from Femenino; as well as Óscar Talavera and Óscar Guirado, from the Genuine team.

Central defender from the Blue and White first team, Esteban Burgos was delighted to participate in this initiative: “It's nice to be here with the children, see where they’re at and let them know that football is a sport that they should have fun with. It's great because you instil in them the values that are important: teamwork, respect for others, helping and that we are all equal.”

For his part, Málaga Genuine player, Óscar Talavera stressed that the transmission of values “is one of the most important things in this sport and all those who play should follow them.”

Following the question and answer session between the students from Colegio La Mata in Cártama and the members of the Blue and White teams, the day ended with a group photo.

Blue and White Values continue advancing in their expansion throughout Málaga province!
