Video and La Rosaleda for the first session of the week
Málaga CF resumed training this afternoon at La Rosaleda Stadium. Following an initial video session, Pellicer’s men trained on the main pitch at Martiricos 24 hours ahead of #MálagaAlmería.
17 of the 18 professional first team players were in training under the coach’s orders today - all available players, with the exception of Orlando Sá, who remains outside the team dynamic with the Club’s permission. Lombán, Escassi, Jairo and Jozabed were in action with the group.
In addition, there were 11 homegrown players in training today, with those who played with Atlético Malagueño and Juvenil ‘A’ on Sunday training at a slower pace. From the reserve team were goalkeeper Gonzalo and players Ismael (gradual reincorporation), Ramón, Benítez, Quintana, Cristo, Kevin and Julio, together with ‘juveniles’ Haitam, Loren and Larrubia.
As well as the players with long-term injury, Calero and Chavarría, ‘juvenil’ defender Andrés Caro remained in the gym today (fit, preventive training) along with Hicham.
Tomorrow, Tuesday at 19:30 at La Rosaleda, Málaga-Almería will get underway, corresponding to matchday 32 of LaLiga SmartBank.
