Málaga CF Femenino defeated CF Cáceres Femenino by 0-2 thanks to two goals from Adriana in the 10th match of the season in Segunda División Nacional Group IV, held at the Manuel Sánchez ground in Cáceres.
The match got off to an even start, with both sides sharing possession in midfield. Following various approaches, and with the Blue and Whites’ striker eager to score, a pass from Paula to Adriana allowed the team’s highest scorer to take a 0-1 lead in minute 22 of play. From then on, the Malaguistas began to take the reins, and just six minutes after the first goal, the number ‘10’ scored again, this time following a pass from Sheila (2-2, minute 28). The result stayed the same at half-time, 0-2.
As the second half got underway, equality prevailed on the pitch, and the midfielders dominated possession without a clear control from either side. In 72’ and 76’, Contreras made some changes, giving minutes to Kerlly, who came on in place of Farfán, and María Ruíz, in substitution of Paula. Ten minutes later, the coach brought on Karina in place of Sheila. Little more happened during play, and the match ended with a 0-2 result, allowing Málaga CF Femenino to take the top spot in the rankings with 25 points.
