The players in last night’s match against Racing de Santander underwent a less intense session than the rest of the squad.
Joaquín Sánchez is still undergoing recuperation treatment in the gym, as well as Brazilian defender Weligton, Italian midfielder Maresca, and Dutch striker Van Nistelrooy.
Atlético Malagueño’s keeper, Pol, was the only sub in this training session, the start of an intensive week with three matches in six days. Following last night’s match against Racing, Málaga are travelling to Castellón to face Villareal, in their 33rd BBVA League match, on Thursday 12th April.
The Blue and Whites first team returns to a closed training session tomorrow, Wednesday, hours before they leave for Castellón.
