Málaga CF returned to training this evening at La Rosaleda Stadium. The main news of the day was the partial reintegration to the group of homegrown defender, Moussa Diarra.
The first session of the week got underway at 18:00 on the main Martiricos pitch, following a day off yesterday.
A technical talk, physical activation, rounds in groups and technical work with the ball in a reduced space was the focus of training for the majority of the squad, although the starting players from the Blue and White first and second teams last Sunday underwent a less intense session.
Moussa returned to the group dynamic in the first part of training, while Víctor Olmo continues accumulating sessions integrated within the group. On the side-lines, together with physical trainer, Toni Tapia, Lago Junior carried out physical work on the pitch and with the ball. Chavarría and reserve team player, Cristian remained in the gym (specific work).
The homegrown players under the coach’s orders were Carlos López and Rafa Martínez (Juvenil); plus, defenders Andrés Caro and Murillo; striker, Loren; Juvenil winger, Álex Calvo and the aforementioned Moussa and Olmo.
Tomorrow, Wednesday at 10:30, the team will resume training at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
