Málaga CF returned to training this morning at La Rosaleda’s Annexe. The team finalised preparations for the Primera Federación matchday 16 fixture taking place on Sunday against AD Mérida at the Estadio Romano (18:00).
The Malaguista squad carried out the last training session of this week, which featured two matches due to the Copa del Rey. After last Wednesday's match against CD Eldense, the Blue and Whites have undergone three training sessions ahead of the match on Sunday 10 December against AD Mérida, corresponding to Primera Federación matchday 16.
After a brief video session, and under the orders of Pellicer and his coaching team, the players took to the pitch at around 11:30 and carried out technical-tactical training focused on finishing and strategy.
Manu Molina remained on the sidelines of the group due to discomfort in his right quadriceps for which he’s awaiting medical tests. Meanwhile, Juan Hernández, pending diagnostic tests, continues outside the group carrying out specific tasks with Sangalli, Juande and Nelson Monte, who continue to recover from their respective injuries.
On behalf of the MCF Academy, present in first team training today were Adrián Pereda -goalkeeper-, Murillo, Antoñito Cordero, Izan Merino, Arriaza, Aaron Ochoa and Adri López.
This afternoon, following Pellicer's press conference, the team will head to Mérida, where tomorrow they will play the Primera Federación matchday 16 fixture against AD Mérida at the Estadio Romano José Fouto (18:00).
