Three victories in last three visits to Balaídos

Celta de Vigo’s stadium is favourable for Málaga CF, having achieved three wins in the last three seasons. Over the last 15 years the Blue and Whites have racked up 15 victories, three draws and two defeats.

Balaídos is a favourable ground for Málaga CF.  Over the last three seasons the team has won three times.  A good example is last season when the ‘Malaguistas’ defeated the local side by 0-2 with two goals from Camacho, despite Duda being shown the red card in the second half.
 
The previous season, 2012/13, Balaídos was the scene of an historic moment.  Málaga CF won by 0-1 with a goal from Fabrice Olinga, who became the youngest player in history to score a BBVA League goal, at just 16 years, 98 days old.
 
Another curious fact of this pairing is the Blue and Whites’ success in Vigo over the past 15 years as Málaga CF.  Whereas under the denomination CD Málaga, the ‘Malaguistas’ didn’t achieve victory in their 20 visits to Vigo, and only came away with six draws.
