Thirteen years of Malaguismo in Alameda

Last weekend the Peña Malaguista de Alameda celebrated its XIII anniversary as a Blue and White supporters’ group.

Saturday 1st April was a special date in the calendar for the Malaguistas from Alameda, a beautiful inland Malagueña town located to the north of the Antequera region, who celebrated their 13th anniversary as a Malaguista supporters’ club.

More than 150 people, including members, those of sister clubs such as the Malaguistas from Mollina, Archidona and Coín (Malaguistas del Guadalhorce 'Juanmi') and a representation of the Alameda Town Hall, headed up by mayor José García and Sports Ccouncillor, María Teresa Ávila, gathered at the Posada de José María El Tempranillo to celebrate the anniversary of the Alameda peñistas.

Málaga CF's Minister for Protocol and Institutional Relations, Francisco Martín Aguilar led the Entity's delegation at this event that included Miguel Molina, president of the Federación de Peñas Malaguistas, with Rafael Zambrana, president of the Peña Malaguista de Alameda, as the perfect host.

The Club presented the Alameda peñistas with a Rubén Castro shirt signed by the Málaga CF first team, and everyone tasted a very special Malaguista cake that featured the motto 'Sí se puede' in the middle.

Happy anniversary, Alamedanos!
