It was a cold and rainy morning at the Martiricos stadium today during which the team alternated between physical training and technical work with the ball, as usual. Also in training under Pellicer’s orders were the same reserve team players as yesterday, plus goalkeeper Miguel de la Osa, who worked alongside Dani Barrio and Juan Soriano.
Josua Mejías joined the team in training at a good pace, with Benkhemassa performing at a good level for the second day on the bounce. Matos stepped on to the pitch to take part in physical training alongside his teammates, and later moved into the gym, along with reserve team members Hicham and Julio, who also underwent continuous running on the pitch, outside the group.
As well as Haitam Abaida, also in first team training today were ‘juvenil’ players Andrés (central defender) and Juanlu Lanzat (left-back).
Tomorrow, Thursday at 11:00, Málaga CF will return to training at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
