The Malaguista locomotive arrives in Madrid

The players travelled on the AVE high speed train from the María Zambrano station to Madrid, ahead of tomorrow’s match against Atlético, kicking off at 18:30.

The team is now relaxing in Madrid after the AVE journey of two hours and 40 minutes, from Málaga to Atocha station.  The 18 called-up players and coaching team are accompanied by sports director, Francesc Arnau.  The expedition is completed by president, Adbullah Al Thani; Board member, Nayef Al Thani; and presidential adviser, Carlos Pérez who arrived in Madrid on a later train.

The Malaguistas will remain at hotel NH Eurobuilding until the hours before the match against Atlético de Madrid, taking place at the Vicente Calderón, kicking off at 18:30.
