MCF Academy CEO, Hamyan Al-Thani collected the award presented by the oldest ‘caseta’ of the Málaga Feria, in recognition of Málaga CF’s sporting successes achieved in recent years.

The ‘Grupo de Amigos de la Espiga’ wanted to celebrate the successes of the Málaga team over the last 10 years, in which they’ve consolidated their position in the First Division, and competed in the Champions League for the first time in history.

Sports director, Francesc Arnau; Club advisers, Abdullah Ben Barek and Francisco Martín Aguilar; and member of the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’, accompanied MCF Academy CEO, Hamyan Al-Thani this Monday evening to ‘La Espiga’ in Cortijo de Torres, where the award ceremony took place.

Renowned Málaga-born actor, Antonio Banderas; baritone, Carlos Álvarez; former CB Unicaja and Spain player, Carlos Cabezas; and the Luis Olivares Foundation have all been recognised in previous years for their important social and professional work, and for carrying the Málaga name throughout Spain and the world.
