Málaga CF increased fans’ attendance to La Rosaleda in 16/17 by almost 5%. In addition, there has been an 8% rise in followers on social media compared to last year.
The 2016/17 season brought very positive stats for the Blue and Whites’ Club, in relation to fans’ participation, followers and the number of visits to MCF’s official channels.
Attendance at La Rosaleda
A total of 420.630 spectators attended the 19 games held at La Rosaleda during the past League season, which represents a standout 72’58% stadium occupation. In regard to 2015/16, this is an estimable increase of 4.85%.
Social networks
Málaga CF is the seventh highest LaLiga Club in the First Division in relation to the number of followers on social media, with a total of 2.162.085, a growth of 8% over last season. Furthermore, 156.101 are new followers, and there were more than 3 million interactions (+19% in relation to 2015/16) on Blue and Whites’ social networks.

Visits to the Club’s official website, www.malagacf.com, during the newly completed season, registered traffic of 70’60% on a national level, and 29’40% internationally. The average number of visits to the websites of the 20 LaLiga clubs over 2016/17 was 58’50% in Spain, and 41’50% outside the country.
