Spain returns to La Rosaleda!

The Spanish national team will be in action against the Czech Republic at La Rosaleda Stadium in June, an international commitment within the UEFA Nations League.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation confirmed today that Luis Enrique’s team will face the Czech Republic at La Rosaleda on Sunday 12th June in the Nations League, a European national team competition in which Spain is the current runner-up.

This will be the 10th time Spain visits Martiricos, following nine previous friendlies for ‘La Roja’ at the Blue and White stadium. The last precedent was on 11th November 2017, when Spain defeated Costa Rica by 5-0 with goals from Alba, Morata, Silva (2) and Iniesta.

Spain returns to Málaga thanks to the agreement between the RFEF and Junta de Andalucía reached in February 2021, by which the Andalusian region will host 24 matches of the national teams over four years.

Málaga Club de Fútbol is very much looking forward to welcoming the Spanish national team to La Rosaleda, who will enjoy the loyal and unconditional support of the Malaguista fans in the stands.

Vamos, España!
