The Blue and Whites, who yesterday played their fifth and final friendly before LaLiga SmartBank gets underway, will rest on Sunday and Monday before training resumes on Tuesday.
Sergio Pellicer’s men kicked off this stage of the preseason on 27th August at the José Burgos Quintana, with over a dozen training sessions held between Alhaurín Golf Hotel and the pitch in Coín. Friendly fixtures took place at the Marbella Football Center and La Quinta Fields against Granada CF and RCD Espanyol, respectively, ending with yesterday’s duel in Coín against AD Alcorcón.
Alhaurín el Grande, Coín, Marbella… The province, for another summer, has taken centre stage during Málaga CF’s preseason. A special mention this year, particularly during this COVID-19 pandemic, goes out to Alhaurín Golf Hotel. Its exclusivity in service, facilities and the wonderful treatment by the hotel staff towards the Blue and White expedition has been exceptional.
