Málaga CF was back to work this morning, the second training session of the week, at the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium. Eliseu held today’s pre-training press conference.
Today’s session consisted of continuous running, stretching, rounds, various physical exercises, defence-attack work and a mini-match. Saviola returned to group training, following his groin strain, whilst Isco again exercised in the gym today, still suffering with a sprained right ankle. Baptista continues to be gradually reincorporated back into group training. Reserve players, Pol, Jurado, Fabrice and Óscar Sielva were included in today’s session.
The team returns to work tomorrow morning at 10:30 at La Rosaleda.

“We know Barcelona are a fantastic team, probably the best in the world, but we showed in the first leg that we’re more than capable of taking them on. We’ll give Thursday’s match 100 per cent, as we’re determined to make it to the semis.”
