Málaga Club de Fútbol’s Samu Castillejo who made his official debut with Spain’s under-21s, re-joined training with the Blue and Whites this morning at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium.
More players are returning from international duties, and this morning saw Samu Castillejo back with the team following his official debut with Spain’s under-21s. Along with Castillejo and the rest of the group, Sergio Sánchez took part in the entire session with his teammates this morning, which consisted of continuous running, warm-up exercises using the ball, various physical exercises and possession work in reduced spaces. The team ended the session with a mini-match. Iván Rodríguez, Alberto López and Daniel Mauri from the reserve team were in training with the first team this morning. International players, Ricardo Horta, Juanmi, Rosales, Filipenko and Juanpi remain absent.
Students from Málaga CF’s Easter Camp in Benahavís and Coín were present during the first part of the training session today, and enjoyed seeing their idols in action.
The team is back in training tomorrow, Maundy Thursday at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium.
