National coach, Santi Denia, chose the striker Samu as a starter in the line-up, and was then subsituted for Serrano in minute 51. Spain won in a major way in Podgorica’s Mladost stadium with goals from Samper, Ramírez (3 and 1 penalty), Arguez and Serrano.
Spain, who have scored six out of six points, will now play the third leg of the qualifiers on Monday 24th October at 2.30 in the Podgorica stadium against Poland.
