Roberto Rosales and Juanpi Añor  took part in the Columbia-Venezuela match, corresponding to a South American qualifier for the 2018 Russia World Cup.  The result was a 2-0 win for Columbia, thanks to goals from James and Torres.  Rosales played the entire match on the right wing, whilst Juanpi was in midfield from the start, substituted in minute 67 by his teammate, Santos.  Mikel remained on the subs’ bench for Venezuela, who are now at the bottom of the standings with 1 point after 7 games.

Fede Ricca didn’t debut with the Uruguayan national team.  The left-back stayed on the subs’ bench during the match between Argentina and Uruguay (1-0, Messi), a 2018 Russia World Cup qualifier.  Uruguay are in second place in the South American group with 13 points, one away from leaders, Argentina.
