Málaga Club de Fútbol player Salomón Rondón was injured during the game against Sporting de Gijón in La Rosaleda. Following a fight for a loose ball in the 33rd minute of the first half, the Venezuelan forward suffered a torn muscle fibre of his left leg. Rondón will undergo some tests on Thursday 12th May to determine the extent of the injury and the estimated period that he will be out of action.
