Rincón de la Victoria lights up ‘Malaguistas to the Core’

On Sunday this beautiful Costa del Sol municipality will take centre stage within the Club's campaign promoting Malaguismo in the province, accompanying the team at La Rosaleda.

One of the most beautiful corners of Malaga is, without doubt, Rincón de la Victoria. And having their encouragement and support in the stands will be a plus for the crucial #MálagaRacing clash on LaLiga SmartBank matchday 30.

After Nerja, which inaugurated this 'Malaguistas to the Core' season during Málaga-Granada (1-1) in the first round, and Alhaurín de la Torre, the second municipality to do so in Málaga-Tenerife (1-1) on matchday 22, Rincón de la Victoria takes over with the hope of filling La Rosaleda with positive vibrations.

The great harmony with the coastal municipality was shown in two of the last three seasons, with the Martiricos venue hosting CD Rincón's historic matches in the Copa del Rey against Deportivo Alavés (20/21) and RCD Espanyol (22/23) respectively. There was an outstanding response from the fans in the stands in both matches, especially with the visit of the Catalan team, with around 8,000 people in the stadium.

The close relationship with Rincón is also prevalent in women’s football. This 22/23 season, the home of Málaga CF Femenino is the Francisco Romero municipal ground, where Juanma Gómez's girls train and compete in Segunda Federación Grupo Sur.

Rincón de la Victoria is full of good footballers and within our youth ranks, already a regular in the Málaga CF first team, is Rincón-born Andrés Caro. The young central defender continues to grow as a player and person, an example of Blue and White values and a pillar from the MCF Academy in recent years.

Martiricos will be illuminated and filled with life by the presence of some true Malaguistas, whose fervent passion for our colours is more than evident. Rincón de la Victoria, we can’t wait to welcome you to celebrate, together, a vital victory this Sunday at La Rosaleda. Vamos, Rincon!
