Recio signs a new professional contract

The excellent evolution of the player born in El Palo, which began the season at Málaga's youngsters, Atlético Malagueño, led him to be called by Manuel Pellegrini last ten of November, when debuting in the second match against Hercules of Copa del Rey, being one of the starters. In the Liga, the young player has had the confidence of Chilean coach, playing the last two league games as a starter at RC Deportivo La Coruna and R.C.D. Mallorca. Recio’s first statement was to say thank you to his Club: "I feel very happy with this new situation, the Club has placed much confidence in me and I thank them and want to demonstrate in the field that they have not been wrong with me." "Any young player pursues this chance: to have a call from the first team. It is a pride for all of because every day since we were in the youngest teams, during many years we work for this, to reach the first team", claims Recio remembering his mates in Málaga’s Academy. José Luis 'Recio' came to Málaga CF from San Estanislao, a team of El Palo, and fulfills his tenth season at the Martiricos Club, and from now on although the player changes his amateur status for the professional, will retain his card in the second team, Atletico Malagueño where Recio plans "to keep on working every day, with great humility and step by step and thus demonstrate that I want to be in Málaga Club de Fútbol." "I work as much as possible because the team is in a difficult situation and we all want to leave it. We have enough squad and quality to do it" adds the new professional player of Málaga Club de Fútbol. The young 19 years likes to be called Recio, though this is not one of his last names (it is the second of his father) in memory of his uncle, a Málaga's midfielder of the 80’s and his father, Antonio. A priority matter for Antonio Fernández The new Sport Manager of Málaga Club de Fútbol and the person on duty for Recio's new situation, Antonio Fernández remarks "how important and a priority goal" this agreement is for him. "Once I landed at Málaga CF and knew about the situation of the player, I understood that the Club had to propose an improvement to Recio. He had to become a professional, the Club wants to help him to feel comfortable, happy and at the same time, Málaga Club de Fútbol has the safety and security of having the player by and for many years" explains the Sport Manager.
