Tete Morente arrived in Málaga this afternoon and will be officially presented tomorrow, Thursday at the ‘Juan Cortés’ Press Room at La Rosaleda Stadium at 12:30.

José Antonio Morente Oliva, ‘Tete’, was born in La Línea de la Concepción (Cádiz) on 4th December 1996. He soon began to excel in football training and was recruited by Club Atlético de Madrid at ‘juvenil’ age in the 14/15 season. With this club he spent two seasons between the ‘B’ and ‘C’ teams.
In 16/17 he signed to Atlético Baleares, showing a good individual performance in the bronze division at just 20 years of age.
Four years in the silver division
His power, running ability and speed to spaces on either of the wings caught the attention of the Second Division. With both Nàstic de Tarragona and the team where he came from, CD Lugo, he competed for the past three and a half seasons in LaLiga SmartBank, playing regularly. His stats, from 17/18: 70 matches (68 in the League and 2 in the Cup) he was in the starting-11 52 times, scored 4 goals and gave another 4 assists.
