Penultimate session of the week at La Rosaleda’s Annexe
The Blue and Whites returned to training this Friday morning, completing the fourth of five sessions ahead of their upcoming match this Sunday at the Tartiere against Real Oviedo.
At 10:30, after an initial tactical talk from Sergio Pellicer to his players, the morning session began with physical activation exercises, group rounds, technical work with the ball, and final stretching.
In terms of squad changes from yesterday’s session, there was just one adjustment: Juvenil goalkeeper Lucas Jiménez replaced reserve team keeper Andrés Céspedes. This meant a total of 27 players trained under the coach’s orders, with Ochoa, Izan, and Cordero fully available.
Chupe, Rafa, and Rafita continued training with the first team again today, while Dani Lorenzo, Ramón, and Haitam remain long-term absentees, working separately from the group.
Tomorrow, Saturday, around 11:30, Málaga CF will hold another training session at La Rosaleda. In the early afternoon, the team will travel to Asturias ahead of Sunday’s #RealOviedoMálaga clash (16:15, Carlos Tartiere).
