Statements by Paula

Happy

“I’m delighted to be in the Málaga CF museum, and to have represented the squad at the U-20 World Cup in which we were runners-up. We saw the final as a dream. We were in a very tough group and said initially, “let’s see if we get through”. In the end we did, reached the quarter-finals, then the semi-finals, when we said we were just a step away from the final. We missed the very last step, it wasn’t to be. We’re all still delighted though”.

Playing a final

“I wanted to go out and be able to help my teammates. We were hoping for an equaliser, we launched a ball to the cross bar, but we lost the game. However, I’m still very happy to have got as far as we did”.

Back to work with the Blue and Whites

“I started this week with Málaga and we cannot wait for the league to get underway against Atlético de Madrid. They’re going to be a difficult rival, but we’ll try and make things difficult for them as we are determined to do well in the Liga Iberdrola”.
