No chance for COVID-19 within the MCF Academy

Respecting all health protocol imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Málaga CF Academy’s medical services are working hard with the homegrown players.

La Rosaleda Stadium’s facilities are adequately equipped for the recovery, rehabilitation and treatment of the players who form Blue and White grassroots football.

Chief medical officer of the youth ranks, Daniel Rosado, supported by the new MCF Femenino physiotherapist, Ana Madrid and experienced physical trainer, Rafa Mondragón, contribute to the specific daily training of the promising young players within The Academy, from Prebenjamínes to Juvenil age.

“We treat recovery from injury and undergo preventive training, with review periods and promoting injury prevention with players who need it”, says Mondragón, first team trainer for several years in previous stages.

And always in compliance with the current health regulations. In the stadium’s main gym, capacity is limited with the relevant safety distances in a perfectly ventilated room. The protocol includes a complete disinfection of equipment when passed from one group of footballers to another.

Involvement, responsibility and utmost attention at the service of the promising young Málaga CF players.
