MCF Foundation raises 13.200 euros with the sale of the solidarity shirt

All proceeds will go towards 13 social projects whose objective is the fight against COVID-19 in Málaga.

On 30th March, Málaga CF’s solidarity shirt, created through the MCF Foundation, went on sale to raise funds for the coronavirus health crisis plaguing Spain and the world. Just two weeks later, sales of the shirt have remained at a high, continual pace, with more than 2,000 sold and 13.239 euros raised.

The solidarity shown by all Malaguistas throughout Málaga province and the entire country is recognised, and the funds raised from the sale of this unique shirt will go towards 13 social projects whose sole objective is the fight against COVID-19 in the province. Mayor of the city, Francisco de la Torre; president of the Diputación provincial, Francisco Salado; José María Arrabal, Secretary General for Sport in the Junta de Andalucía; Mercedes García Paine, Málaga delegate of Education, Sport, Equality, Social Politics and Conciliation at the Junta; José Luis Paradas Romero, managing director of Málaga Deporte y Eventos; Government Delegate of the Junta de Andalucía in Málaga, Patricia Navarro; Sports Councillor at Málaga City Hall, Noelia Losada; comedian, Tomas García; Malagueño actor, Salva Reina; and the Federación de Peñas Malaguistas have all got behind this project and acquired their shirts.

The solidarity shirt is still on sale, via Málaga CF’s Official Online Store, and can be purchased by clicking on the following link: https://www.tiendamalagacf.com/es/camiseta-solidaria/camiseta-solidaria
