MCF: debut goal-scorers

Roberto Rosales, Chory Castro and Borja Bastón netted the winning goals against Deportivo, making their scoring debut this season.

The three Blue and Whites’ scorers from #MálagaDépor got their first goals of the current 2017/18 season, winning three important points for Míchel González’s team.

Rosales scored his second official goal wearing the Malaguista jersey, following his superb goal last season in Vitoria against Alavés. A special goal for the Venezuelan right-back, being his first at La Rosaleda, and doing so wearing the captain’s armband.

Chory, a specialist in generating assists during his vast career in LaLiga, with Mallorca, Real Sociedad and of course Málaga CF, also scored for the first time this season, in addition to providing an assist for the first goal by the aforementioned ‘Robertico’ Rosales.

Borja scored the winning goal in the 3-2 victory which brought Martiricos to its feet, a subtle goal following a fantastic pass from Juanpi. The striker already scored in the pre-season (against Hertha de Berlin), and has now scored his official debut goal wearing the Blue and White jersey.

La Rosaleda Fortress

Málaga CF defeated Dépor, their second consecutive win at La Rosaleda stadium, spurred on by a colossal fan base that didn’t stop cheering on their team. Following the point earned against Athletic, coming back from 1-3 down (3-3, matchday 6), the team has claimed six out of a possible six points in the last two home games, against Galician rivals, Celta de Vigo (2-1) and Deportivo de la Coruña (3-2). In the latter case, the team repeated the script from last season, including a comeback and a decisive goal in the final stages of play.
