MCF 16/17: The team that never gives up

Málaga CF has shown great spirit to bounce back from adversity in the current Liga Santander. On two occasions the team has made a comeback from a negative result at home, and clinched draws in the final minutes of away matches, twice.

The Blue and Whites have earned eight of their nine points (88%) in the League, coming from behind on the scoreboard.  The two consecutive victories in the competition, against Eibar and Athletic at La Rosaleda, came from trailing 0-1 down.  In away games, the first and most recent against Espanyol and Alavés, the Blue and Whites equalised after being 2-0 and 1-0 down respectively.

In addition, MCF has scored seven of their eight goals in the second half of games, demonstrating their ability to fight until the end.  Five of the eight goals were scored in the last 15 minutes.  Furthermore, the Blue and Whites are the best team in the League regarding points gained from minute 70, with seven points (Sevilla FC is in second place, with five).
