Viberti, the legend who played in Tarragona

During his time in Spain, Sebastián Humberto Viberti Irazoki played for two teams: CD Málaga and Gimnàstic de Tarragona. Viberti, a Blue and White icon between 1969 and 1974, played a total of 134 official games (95 in the First Division, 22 in the Second Division and 17 in the Copa del Generalísimo) achieving important milestones with CD Málaga (7th place in the league, a Cup semi-final and five consecutive seasons in the elite, amongst other achievements).

After his time with the Malaguistas came to an end, he signed to the Tarragona side, then in the Second Division, remaining just for the 1974/75 season. Viberti played 28 official matches between the League and Cup competition with Nàstic and hung up his boots at the end of that campaign.
