Women’s football returns to Cártama following the Christmas holidays. Matchday 14 of Segunda División Nacional Femenina Group IV gets underway on Sunday 7th January at 12:00, pitting Málaga CF Femenino and Club Atlético Polillas from Ceuta against each other.
Antonio Contreras’ girls returned to training on 3rd January after completing a great first round. Málaga ended the initial stage of the competition in first place in the rankings with 34 points. Meanwhile, the Ceuta women’s team kick off the second round in 13th place with four points.
In the first match between these two rivals – the first match of the 2017/18 season – the Malaguistas defeated Polillas by 0-8, and was the first point of contact for Málaga CF’s new women’s team.
