Marcelo ‘Gato’ Romero arrived at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium today, on his third day as coach of the first team. Close to the squad and the employees, he has worked tirelessly for three days with his entire team.
He put on his boots, chatted with the players and carried out an hour and a half-long training session, before a change of scenery to La Rosaleda for his presentation. Accompanied by sports director, Francesc Arnau, he greeted Club advisers; Abdullah Ben Barek and Francisco Martín Aguilar and entered the ‘Juan Cortés’ press room for his presentation in front of the media.
“People want to see their team compete, I therefore want to see a solid team, convinced they will go out there and win. We must keep working hard and assure the players and the fans that we are Málaga, a family that goes hand in hand. From there, the team will be seen on the pitch”, and with that, Marcelo Romero ended his presentation. His first press conference as Málaga CF coach.
