Malagueño make a good impression in San Fernando

Atlético Malagueño made a fantastic impression in San Fernando on Saturday, in their first match of the pre-season. Despite losing by 0-1, Josep Clotet’s team played very dynamic football, creating several goal opportunities.

The pressure put on them from the top, enabled the Blue and Whites to create a number of goal chances during the first half.  The goal from the home side coming at the start of the second half, should have led to a shift in game play, especially with the three substitutions for San Fernando, and a completely new Málaga team.  However Atlético Malagueño continued to set up numerous opportunities to score in their search for an equaliser.  Despite their defeat by one goal to nil, this first match was pretty impressive for Atlético Malagueño.
