The redemption of Cristo
It’s been a while since the left-back from Cádiz has played 90 minutes, coupled with the extra work due to the expulsion of Yanis. He showed power and speed into spaces and was solid in defence. If injuries are not a factor, the resurrection of Cristo will be a fact.
Inferior only in number
Minute 36 of the first half. A direct red card for Yanis with more than half the match to go with 10 men. However, neither on the pitch nor physically could you notice the numerical inferiority. Málaga were highly consistent at the back, generating the odd opportunity, particularly from the set piece, to tip the balance in their favour. The effort and hard work were worthy of a valuable point.
