Málaga CF’s La Academia taking part in last tournaments of 2012
The ‘Infantil’ team is participating today in the International Under-12’s Tournament taking place in Arona, whilst the ‘Benjamines’ and ‘Alevines’ are involved in the Taraguilla, San Fernando and Puerto Malagueño Tournaments.
Málaga Club de Fútbol’s La Academia is taking part in the International Christmas Tournament in Arona, from the 27th to 29th December. Rodrigo Hernando’s team is in Group B along with Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC and Borussia Dortmund. The first round matches will be televised on ‘Cuatro’, the first against Atlético on Thursday 27th (12 p.m.), against the German-based team on Thursday 27th (5:30 p.m.) and finally the Andalucían clash is being held on Friday 28th (1:30 p.m.)
Málaga CF’s lower division teams are taking part in a triangular tournament organised by Puerto Malagueño, together with five other teams, on Saturday 29th December: ‘Prebenjamín’, ‘Benjamín de primer año’, ‘Benjamín de segundo año’, ‘Alevín de primer año’ and ‘Alevín Preferente’.
Also on Saturday 29th, a ‘Benjamin’ and ‘Alevin’ Málaga CF side will be travelling to San Fernando (Cádiz) to participate in the Christmas Tournament. In the group stage, both teams will come up against San Fernando CD, Cádiz CF and Selección CAFI in the morning matches, with the finals held in the afternoon.
The Taraguilla Tournament, taking place on 30th December, will see the ‘Primera Benjamín’ and ‘Alevín Preferente’ La Academia teams taking part. Both will face morning games against UD San Pedro, Real Betis and the host team, AD Taraguilla, in the group stages. The finals will take place in the afternoon.
